Our Pastors

Rev. Dr. Patricia Ryan - Pastor

Reverend Doctor Patricia Ryan is an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO). She continues to joyfully serve as Pastor at Windwood Presbyterian Church – and has done so, since 2006. 

In obedience to God’s call, she has recently transitioned to full-time ministry as the Founder and Executive Director of A Future and a Hope Ministries, a Texas non-profit organization. In this role, Pat leads a team of 9 Lay Counseling Minister volunteers at Windwood. 

Pat earned her Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota and her Doctor of Ministry degree in individual, marriage and family counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. She has served in the US Army Nurse Corps, and was ordained to a chaplain residency post for the University of Texas/M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. 

Pat is married to Tom and they make their home in The Woodlands, Texas. In her free time, Pat enjoys global travel with Tom and spending time with their family – adult married children, Debbie and Michael, and seven grandchildren. 

Believing in the concept that the family unit is the nucleus of the Body of Christ, Pat has passionately embraced the opportunity to serve the community for the sake of happy, healthy individuals, marriages and families.
