Prayerful Stitchers

Just like the name indicates, the Prayerful Stitchers and Knitters enjoy using our needlework talents for God’s service. One of our priorities is to supply prayer shawls for members of Windwood dealing with a health crisis. We supply baby blankets and caps for the Newborn Ministry, sweaters for Guidepost children all over the world, and chemo caps they deliver to MD Anderson. Each item is prayed over by the maker of that item.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Prayerful Stitchers, they meet every second Monday from 12:30-3:00 PM at Windwood. Whether you know how to knit or would like to learn, Prayerful Stitchers are open to anyone.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.  2 Corinthians 10:4-5
